The Training and Development Department is one of the youngest and very promising departments in Olympic Group, directed to long -term investment in OG's staff, shifting them towards higher levels of proficiency, productivity, and development.

The Training and Development Department is committed to delivering quality training to all OG members all over the country, and aimed at achieving OG's strategic objectives.

Training activities are divided into four main pillars:

Pillar One- Functional Training:

Cost Optimization and production development is one of the crucial policies any industrial organization adopts. Hence, Functional training is one of the fundamental activities that The Training and Development Department is concerned with, in order to enhance production facilities and minimize unnecessary costs.

On Regular basis, The Training and Development Department tests the skills matrix of Olympic Group's staff on all levels, comparing the actual performance with the desired performance. The gap revealed through such procedure is one that The Training and Development Department seeks to bridge through:

- Internal Training
- Outsourced Training
- In Door and Out Door Seminars and conferences.


Pillar Two- Development Tracks:

Classical theories state that “More Technical knowledge leads to higher productivity levels” .

However, The Training and Development Department deeply believes that the personal qualities of our staff are of equal importance to achieving our ultimate and strategic objectives.

Thus, Development Tracks is one project dedicated to enhancing the personal qualities of Olympic group's staff and excentuating their Non technical competencies that make our working environment more dynamic, creative, and healthy. This is done through:

- Internal Training
- Outsourced Training
- In Door and Out Door Seminars and conferences.

Pillar Three- Olympic group academies:
Building future leaders who are personally, technically and intellectually qualified to be able to move the group towards achieving its strategic objectives.

This is the vision for a very promising and challenging training program under the name of “Olympic Group Academies”

Engineers and technicians academies are two separate training programs that absorb fresh graduates and deliver high quality technical and non technical trainings preparing them for any potential managerial openings.

Summer Internship:
“A new dimension for partnership” is what describes our view to the summer internship program that is conducted for three months on an annual basis. It’s a mutual benefit opportunity for OG and university students to grow.

Student Scholarships:
OG Scholarship for employee's children is awarded to those who show high performance and behavioral standards at their school studying phase. Moreover, it considers the sports and any other social activities. OG Scholarship aims at developing and delivering to the community and to Olympic Group's workforce high quality leaders who are change agents and entrepreneurs.

Awarding academic achievements for employees' children
 These are rewards for OG Employees' children who demonstrate high performance standards at the different educational levels. These awards are given in an annual celebration.
